In the dry desert space between here and there, a phone repairwoman encounters a chatty corpse, a self-propelled peanut, and some portents of the rapture.
Momo-chan, the pet cat of the Hanazaki family, goes missing after being kidnapped by another cat during a family trip. To help Momo-chan's owner, Emi-chan, who has lost all her energy, and to find Momo-chan, Tama and the others set out on a journey to search for her. Along the way, they encounter a swallow named Tsubakuro and discover Momoko, but there they are met by Blackfoot, the leader of a group of cats abandoned by humans, and his subordinate Bobtail. Will Tama and the others be able to bring Momoko back safely?
Mickey, apparently shipwrecked, is on a raft; he washes up on a tropical island, where a banana tree takes care of his hunger. He then discovers a piano that washed ashore, and begins playing it. The animals come around; a gorilla, after playing a 4-hands piece with his feet, destroys the piano. Mickey runs away and accidentally wakes a lion. The lion chases Mickey to a stream, where he jumps onto a rock that turns out to be right next to a crocodile.

This works well when they chop the wood to burn him at the stake.
